Krugersdorp High School’s athletics side participates in athletics in the third term, in the Johannesburg league. In this league our learners do not participate in field events, but in the first term they are provided an opportunity to go through to district championships which allows for them to do both track and field events.  Over the years, Krugersdorp High School has been known to produce various top South African athletes.

On Wednesday, 27 July, Krugersdorp High School hosted the 1st athletics meeting for the season. 

Notable performances from KHS athletes – 1st places: Kamogelo Dhlamini (800m); Yanga Hlongo (800m); Refilwe Maseko (100m); Jenna Brust (100m); Oleboheng Pooe (100m, 200m); Daniel Pereira (100m); Zoe Liverdos (200m); Khanya Siluma (200m); Gary O’Brien (200m); Arnold Mongwaketsi (1500m); Carl Jacobsen (400m); Relay Girls under 16, Girls under 17, Boys under 15, Boys under 17, Boys under 19.
