A Krugersdorp High School Grade 8 pupil, Jorden Smith, has been selected for the Gauteng West A-team in Show-jumping. She will be going to the national championships later on in the year.

In addition, Grade 11 pupil, Tamryn Thorpe participated in the Western Nationals on the weekend of 9 and 10 July, winning the youth championships for Freestyle Reigning. This is an outstanding achievement considering that all riders who participate in these championships are from clubs within South Africa.

On Sunday 24 April, Tamryn Thorpe participated in the Sanesa Western Qualifier 2 and did superbly. She achieved a 3rd for Pleasure, 2nd in Horsemanship, 2nd in Trail and a 1st place in Reigning.

Congratulations to all the riders who participated in the Sanesa 2 Qualifier on Sunday, 10 April.
