In an innovative move about 8 years ago, Krugersdorp High School built the “Henry Harman Astro” and this has definitely paid off for the development of our hockey. Both the first boys’ and girls’ hockey sides are ranked in the Top 30 sides in the country. There is no doubt that Krugersdorp High School is the first choice for a hockey playing learner.

With both the first team girls’ and boys’ coaches being Level 2 coaches – a rather rare commodity that Krugersdorp High School may boast of – the proof is in the pudding when looking at the results of our teams. There is a close working relationship between Krugersdorp High School and KHOSA, (Krugersdorp High Old Students’ Association) which ensures that top junior hockey players apply each year which enables the school to compete with the top school`s in Gauteng.
